Not that I already received or already have been perfected, but I pursue, if I also may lay hold, inasmuch as I also was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.

And the righteous one shall hold firmly on his way; and he of clean hands adds strength.

O that my ways were fixed to keep Your statutes!

Jehovah will perfect His work in me; O Jehovah, Your mercy endures forever; You will not forsake the works of Your hands.

To the chief musician. A Contemplation for the sons of Korah. As the deer pants after the channels of water, so my soul pants after You, O God.

My soul has cleaved after You; Your right hand upholds me.

My soul longs and even faints for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

For judgment shall turn to righteousness; and all the upright in heart shall follow after it.

But the path of the righteous ones is as a light of brightness going on and shining till the day is established.

Hear Me, pursuers of righteousness, seekers of Jehovah: Look to the rock from which you were cut, and to the hollow of the pit from which you were dug.

And we shall know, we who follow on to know Jehovah. His going forth is prepared as the dawn. And He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.

Therefore, you be perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

And the Lord said to him, Go, for this one is a vessel of election to Me, to bear My name before nations and kings and the sons of Israel.

nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

but when the perfect thing comes, then that which is in part will be caused to cease.

For now we see through a mirror in dimness, but then face to face. Now I know by part, but then I will fully know even as I also was fully known.

Do you not know that those running in a stadium indeed all run, but one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain.

For we rejoice when we are weak and you are powerful. But we pray for this also, your perfection.

Therefore having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of flesh and of spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another; that not whatever you may will, but these things you do.

even as He elected us in Him before the foundation of the world, for us to be holy and without blemish before Him in love,

for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,

Paul and Timothy, slaves of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:

Yet as to where we have arrived, walk by the same rule, being of the same mind.

For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, and who glory in Christ Jesus, and who do not trust in flesh.

But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ

See that not any one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all.

But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, having been loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth,

being witnessed by good works, if she brought up children, if she was hospitable, if she washed the feet of the saints, if she relieved afflicted ones, if she followed after every good work.

treasuring away for themselves a good foundation for the coming age, that they may lay hold on everlasting life.

Eagerly pursue peace and holiness with all, without which no one will see the Lord,

and to a festal gathering and an assembly of the first-born ones having been enrolled in Heaven; and to God the Judge of all, and to spirits of just ones who have been perfected;

perfect you in every good work, in order to do His will, doing in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

For we all stumble in many ways. If any one does not stumble in word, this one is a mature man, able also to bridle the whole body.

Now the God of all grace, the One having called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, you having suffered a little, Himself will perfect, confirm, strengthen, establish you.

But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
