And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. And this man was righteous and devout, eagerly expecting the Consolation of Israel. And the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And according to a day continuing steadfastly with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in great joy and simplicity of heart,
And of the multitude of those who believed, the heart and the soul were one. And no one said any of the possessions belonging to him to be his own, but all things were common to them.
And likewise the Spirit also joins in to help our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray as it is right, but the Spirit Himself intercedes on our behalf with groanings that cannot be uttered.
For also we all were baptized into one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit.
But thanks be to God, the One always leading us in triumph in Christ, and the One revealing through us the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place.
that their hearts may be comforted, being joined together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, even of the Father and of Christ,
that through two unchangeable things, in which it was not possible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, the ones having fled to lay hold on the hope being set before us,
according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.
