Only conduct yourself worthily of the gospel of Christ, so that whether coming and seeing you or being absent, I hear the things concerning you, that you stand fast in one spirit and one soul, striving together in the faith of the gospel,

And I know that I will come to you in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ when I come.

through the proof of this ministry, they glorifying God by your subjection to the gospel of Christ, and the simplicity of the fellowship toward them and toward all;

which is not another of the same kind; if not there are some troubling you, even determined to pervert the gospel of Christ.

in whom also you, hearing the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also believing you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Because of this, hearing of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love toward all the saints,

Then I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling in which you were called,

over your fellowship in the gospel, from the first day until now,

So, then, my beloved, even as you always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, cultivate your salvation with fear and trembling,

But I am convinced in the Lord that I myself also will come soon.

For many walk as hostile to the cross of Christ, of whom I often told you, and now even weeping I say it,

For our citizenship is in Heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

So then, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, beloved ones.

for you to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;

hearing of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love toward all the saints,

But now Timothy coming to us from you, and announcing good news to us of your love and faith, and that you have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, even as also we long to see you.

For the rest then, brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I was entrusted.

having faith and a good conscience, which certain ones thrusting away, made shipwreck concerning the faith,

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.

not embezzling, but showing all good faith, that they may adorn the doctrine of our Savior God in every thing.

hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints,

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for the ones making peace.

Therefore, all these things being about to be dissolved, of what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness,

Therefore, beloved ones, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found in peace by Him.

Beloved ones, making all diligence to write to you about the common salvation, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend earnestly for the faith once given over to the saints.
