And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
So there shall not be for you one measuring a line by lot in the assembly of Jehovah.
The two tribes and the half tribe shall have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
These are the names of the men that shall take possession of the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
And these are they of the sons of Israel who inherited in the land of Canaan, whom Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel caused to inherit.
And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Jehovah. And Joshua apportioned the land to the sons of Israel there, according to their divisions.
