After these things the Word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not fear, Abram; I am your shield, your reward will increase greatly.

And it happened, the sun was going, and a deep sleep fell on Abram. And behold, a terror of great darkness was falling on him!

And he said, I have seen all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep that there is no shepherd to them. And Jehovah said, No lords are to these; they shall each man return to his house in peace.

Then You spoke in a vision to Your Holy One; and You said, I have laid help on a mighty One. I have exalted an Elect One from the people.

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of the rain, so appeared the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And I saw, and I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

And He said, Now hear My words, If your prophet is of Jehovah, I will make Myself seen by him in an appearance; I will speak to him in a dream.

And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, If the men have come to call you, rise up, go with them and say only the thing that I speak to you; it you shall do.

And Jehovah opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the Angel of Jehovah standing in the road with His sword drawn in His hand. And he bowed and fell on his face.

And he took up his parable and said, The statement of Balaam the son of Beor, and the statement of the man whose eyes are opened;

How good are your tents, O Jacob, your dwellings, O Israel!

And he became hungry and wished to taste food. But as they were preparing, an ecstasy fell on him.

And as Peter pondered concerning the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, three men are seeking you.

And it happened to me, having returned to Jerusalem and praying in the temple, for me coming to be in an ecstasy,

I came to be in the Spirit on the day belonging to the Lord, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,

And he stripped off his garments, he also, and he prophesied before Samuel, even he. And he fell down disrobed all that day and all that night. On account of this they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?
