Numbers 21:7

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And the people came in to Moses and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against Jehovah, and against you. Pray to Jehovah, and He shall turn the serpent away from us. And Moses prayed on behalf of the people.

And now please forgive my sins only this time, and pray to Jehovah your God that He may take away from me this death only.

And Moses prayed before the face of Jehovah his God, and he said, Why, O Jehovah, does Your anger be hot against Your people whom You caused to go up from the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

And it happened on the morrow, Moses said to the people, You have sinned a great sin. And now I will go up to Jehovah; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.

And Pharaoh said, I will send you away, and you may sacrifice to Jehovah your God in the wilderness; only do not go very far off. Pray for me.

And the frogs will come up on you, and on your people, and on all your servants.

And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron, and said, Pray to Jehovah that He may remove the frogs from me and from my people. And I will send away the people that they may sacrifice to Jehovah.

Jehovah, they visited You in distress; they poured out a whisper; Your chastening was to them.

And Jehovah said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My soul is not toward this people. Send them from My face; yea, let them go out.

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal, the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah, the son of Maaseiah the priest, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Intercede now for us to Jehovah our God.

I will go; I will return to My place until they confess their guilt and seek My face. In the oppressing one they will seek Me diligently.

And the people cried to Moses, and Moses prayed to Jehovah, and the fire was quenched.

saying, I sinned, giving over innocent blood. But they said, What is it to us? You see to it.

And answering Simon said, You petition to the Lord for me, so that nothing of the things which you have spoken may come on me.

Brothers, truly my heart’s pleasure and supplication to God on behalf of Israel is unto salvation.

And Jehovah was very angry with Aaron, to destroy him, and I also prayed for Aaron at that time.

Confess to one another the deviations from the Law, and pray for one another, that you may be healed; being very strong, the prayer of a righteous one works effectually.

And Saul said to Samuel, I have sinned, for I have transgressed the mouth of Jehovah and your word, because I feared the people, and I listened to their voice.

And he said, I have sinned. Honor me now, please, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and return with me; and I shall worship Jehovah your God.
