And Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.

and the Amorite and the Canaanite, and the Girgashite, and the Jebusite.

We have cast them down; Heshbon has perished, even to Dibon; and we have desolated even to Nophah, which is to Medeba.

And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took its villages and drove out the Amorite who was there.

And I sent the hornet before you, and it cast them out before you, two kings of the Amorites, not by the sword nor by your bow.
