And it happened at the going up of the offering that Elijah the prophet came near and said, O Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known today that You are God in Israel, and I Your servant, that by Your Word I have done all these things.
And He said, I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you that I have sent you, when you bring out the people from Egypt: You shall serve God on this mountain.
And you shall speak to him, and you shall put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.
When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, Give a wonder for yourselves, you shall say to Aaron, Take your staff and throw it before Pharaoh; and let it become a snake.
So says Jehovah of Hosts, Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you; they make you vain; they speak a vision of their heart, not out of the mouth of Jehovah.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it. And you shall know that Jehovah of Hosts has sent me to you.
If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the mouth of Jehovah, to do good or bad of my own heart. What Jehovah speaks, that I will speak.
I am not able to do anything of Myself, nothing! Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My will, but the will of the Father having sent Me.
But I have the witness greater than the one of John, for the works which the Father has given Me, that I should finish them, the works which I do themselves, witness concerning Me, that the Father has sent Me.
When a prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah, if the thing does not happen and come about, that is the thing which Jehovah has not spoken; that prophet has spoken it proudly; you shall not be afraid of him.
