And his servant said, What? Should I set this before a hundred men? And he said, Give to the people, and they shall eat. For so says Jehovah, Eat and have some left.
And the third officer on whose hand the king leaned replied to the man of God, and said, Behold, if Jehovah would make windows in the heavens, this thing might be. And he said, Behold, you shall see with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh. For he will send them away with a strong hand, yea, he will drive them out from his land with a strong hand.
Who knows why I have come, and no one is here? I called, and not one answered. Cutting short, is My hand cut short from ransom? Or is there not power in Me to deliver? Behold, at My rebuke I dry up the sea; I make rivers a wilderness; their fish stink because of no water, and die in thirst.
Why should You be as a man who is stunned, as a mighty one who cannot save? Yet You, O Jehovah, are in our midst, and Your name is called on us. Do not leave us.
For I, Jehovah, will speak. The Word which I shall speak shall be done, it shall not be drawn out again. For in your days, O house of rebellion, I will say the Word and will do it, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.
I, Jehovah, have spoken; it shall come, and I will do it. I will not let go, and I will not spare, I will not pity. By your ways and by your doings they shall judge you, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.
And when he drew near to the den, he cried with a grieved voice to Daniel. The king answered and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, your God whom you serve constantly, is He able to deliver you from the lions?
Shall flock and herd be slaughtered for them, so one may find for them? Are all the fish in the sea to be gathered for them, that one may find for them?
God is not a man that He should lie, or a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? And has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?
