I commanded that my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the temple be over Jerusalem. For he was as a man of truth and feared God above many.

And on the third day Joseph said to them, Do this and live. I fear God.

The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spoke to me: One ruling over a righteous man, who rules in the fear of God,

And it shall be, I will go away from you, and the Spirit of Jehovah will lift you up, where I do not know, and I will come to tell Ahab, and he will not find you, and he will kill me. And your servant has feared Jehovah from my youth.

And Ahab called to Obadiah, who was over the house (and Obadiah greatly feared Jehovah;

Hanani came, one of my brothers, he and men of Judah. And I asked them about the Jews who had escaped, who were left of the captivity, and about Jerusalem.

And I made treasurers over the treasuries: Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah. And next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah. For they were counted faithful, and on them was the duty to distribute to their brothers.

and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, so that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the temple which is for the house, and for the city wall, and for the house into which I shall enter. And the king granted it to me, according to the good hand of my God on me.

The former governors who were before me were too heavy on the people, and had taken bread and wine from them, besides forty shekels of silver. Yes, even their young men bore rule over the people. But I did not do this, because of the fear of God.

And I said to them, Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the heat of the sun. And while they are standing, let them shut and bar the doors. And make stand guards from those living in Jerusalem, a man in his watch, and a man to be across from his house.

There was a man in the land of Uz, his name was Job. And this man was perfect and upright, and fearing God, and turning away from evil.

My eyes are on the faithful of the land, so that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way shall serve me.

And you, you shall look on men of ability out of all the people, who fear God, men of truth, hating unjust gain. And you place these over them as rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

Then the presidents and satraps were seeking to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom. But they were not able to find occasion or fault because he was trustworthy. And not any error or fault was found in him.

It is not so with My servant Moses! He is faithful in all My house.

Who then is the faithful and wise slave whom his master has appointed over his services, to give to them the food in season?

And his lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many. Enter into the joy of your lord.

For the rest, it is sought among stewards that one be found faithful.

And what things you heard from me through many witnesses, commit these things to faithful men, such as will be competent also to teach others.
