And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Jehovah, I pray, make the counsel of Ahithophel foolish.

Jehovah appeared to Solomon in Gibeon in a dream of the night. And God said, Ask. What shall I give to you?

O Lord, I pray, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who delight to fear Your name. And, I pray, prosper Your servant today and grant him mercy before this man. For I was cupbearer to the king.

And it happened, when I heard these words, I sat down and wept, and mourned for days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of Heaven.

And I said, I pray, Jehovah God of Heaven, the great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and mercy to those loving Him, and to keepers of His commandments,

Then I answered them and said to them, The God of Heaven, He will prosper us, and we, His servants, will arise and build. But you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem.

and I said to the king, If it please the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, that you would send me to Judah to the city of my fathers’ tombs, so that I might build it.

And the king said to her. What shall be done to you, O Queen Esther, and what is your wish? It will be given to you also, even to half of the kingdom.

And the king said to Esther at the banquet of wine, What is your petition, and it shall be granted to you? And what is your wish? And it will be done, to half of the kingdom.

And the king said again to Esther on the second day of the banquet of wine, What is your petition, Queen Esther, and it shall be given to you. And what is your request? It shall be done, to the half of the kingdom.

O give thanks to the God of Heaven; for His mercy endures forever.

in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

And answering, Jesus said to him, What do you desire I should do to you? And the blind one said to Him, My Lord, that I may see again.

And taking hold of his hand, and drawing aside to his own place, the chiliarch asked, What is it that you have to report to me?

Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God;
