King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Who is a God like You, lifting off iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? He does not make strong His anger forever, for He delights in mercy.

If you do well, is there not exaltation? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is toward you; but you should rule over it.

and said, Jehovah, God of Israel, there is no God like You in the heavens above or on the earth beneath; who keeps covenant and mercy with Your servants that walk before You with all their heart;

For when you return to Jehovah, your brothers and your sons will have mercies before ones who captured them, even to return to this land. For Jehovah your God is gracious and merciful, and He will not turn His face away from you, if you turn back to Him.

And You shall listen to the supplications of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, that they pray toward this place; and You shall hear from Your place of dwelling, from Heaven, and shall hear and forgive.

And they refused to hear, and were not mindful of Your wonders which You did among them. But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a leader to return them to their bondage. But You are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and did not forsake them.

As the pity of a father over his sons, so Jehovah pities those who fear Him.

But forgiveness is with You that You may be feared.

All my bones shall say: O Jehovah, who is like You, who delivers the weak one from the ones stronger than he; yes, the poor and needy one from his plunderer?

Things of iniquity, our transgressions are mightier than I; You cover them.

Blessed is the one You elect and cause to come near You; he shall dwell in Your courts; we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.

And, Your righteousness, O God, is to the heights, You who have done great things. O God, who is like You?

But You, O God, are God, full of pity; and gracious, long before anger and rich in mercy and truth.

For You, O Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all who call on You.

For who in the cloud is ranked with Jehovah, who among the sons of the mighty is like Jehovah?

O Jehovah God of Hosts, who is a strong Jehovah like You? And Your faithfulness is all round about You.

Who is like You among the gods, O Jehovah? Who is like You, glorified in holiness, fearful in praises, O Worker of wonders?

And he said, If now I have found favor in Your eyes, O Lord, please let my Lord go in our midst, for it is a stiffnecked people; and You forgive our iniquity and our sin, and take us as a possession.

Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as the crimson, they shall be like wool.

And an inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, the people who live in it, their iniquity shall be lifted up.

Behold, for peace was bitter to me, yea, bitter, but You loved my soul from the pit of destruction; You have cast all my sins behind Your back.

And to whom will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?

To whom then will you liken Me, or am I to be equated, says the Holy One?

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My sake; and I will not remember your sins.

I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud; and your sins like a cloud. Turn back to Me, for I have redeemed you.

Let the wicked one forsake his way and the man of iniquity his thoughts, and let him turn back to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will multiply to pardon.

You were wearied in the length of your way; you did not say, Despair! You found the life of your hand, so you were not sick.

For I will not contend forever, and I will not always be angry, for the spirit would faint before Me, even the breaths I have made.

For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you. And as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God shall rejoice over you.

Be not angry, Jehovah, until exceeding, and do not remember iniquity forever. Behold! Look, we pray; all of us are Your people.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people. And the voice of weeping and the voice of crying shall no longer be heard in her.

Go and cry these words toward the north, and say, Return, O apostate Israel, a statement of Jehovah. I will not cause My face to fall on you, for I am holy, a statement of Jehovah; I will not keep anger forever.

Will He keep His anger forever? Or will He guard it to the end? Behold, you have spoken, and you have done all the evil that you could.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Or is he a delightful child? For as often as I spoke against him, remembering I remember him still. So My bowels are stirred for him; pitying I will have pity on him, a statement of Jehovah.

And they shall no longer each man teach his companion, and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah. For they shall all know Me, from the least of them even to the greatest of them, a statement of Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.

And I will rejoice over them, to do good to them; and I will truly plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity which they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities that they have sinned against Me, and which they have transgressed against Me.

Ebed-melech went out of the king’s house and spoke to the king, saying,

In those days, and at that time, a statement of Jehovah, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and it is not; and the sins of Judah, and they will not be found; for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Jehovah, doing kindness, judgment and righteousness in the earth; for I delight in these, a statement of Jehovah.

Delighting, do I delight in the death of the wicked one? a statement of the Lord Jehovah. Is it not that he should turn from his ways and live?

Say to them, As I live, a statement of the Lord Jehovah, I do not have delight in the death of the wicked one, except in the evil one turning from his way, and so to live. Turn back! Turn back from your evil ways! For why will you die, O house of Israel?

All his sins which he has sinned shall not be remembered to him; he has done justice and righteousness, living he shall live.

To the Lord our God belong mercies and pardons, for we have rebelled against Him,

Take words with you and return to Jehovah. Say to Him, Lift up all iniquity and take us for good, and we will repay with the calves of our lips.

I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall blossom as the lily and cast out his roots like Lebanon.

For it shall be, all who shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be saved. For salvation shall be in Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, as Jehovah has said, and among the survivors whom Jehovah shall call.

So says Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn back from it, for he pursued his brother with the sword, and corrupted his compassions, and his anger has torn perpetually, and he kept it, his wrath, forever.

And Jehovah said to me, Amos, what are you seeing? And I said, A plumb line. And the Lord said, Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of My people Israel. I will not again pass over him any more.

And He said, Amos, what are you seeing? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. And Jehovah said to me, The end has come on My people Israel; I will not again pass over him any more.

And he prayed to Jehovah, and said, Please, O Jehovah, was this not my word while I was on my own land? On account of this at first I fled to Tarshish, for I knew that You are a gracious God and compassionate, slow to anger, and great of mercy, and One who has pity over calamity.

Gathering I will gather all of you, Jacob; collecting I will collect the remnant of Israel. I will set him together like the sheep of Bozrah, like a flock in the midst of its pasture. They shall be in commotion because of men.

And I will set the lame one into a remnant, and she having been removed far off into a strong nation. And Jehovah shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, and to forever.

Therefore He will give them until the time the one giving birth has given birth. And the rest of His brothers shall return to the sons of Israel.

Shepherd Your people with Your rod, the flock of Your possession, dwelling alone in the thicket, in the midst of Carmel. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in days of old.

Jehovah your God is a mighty One in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

He has seen no iniquity in Jacob, nor has He seen mischief in Israel. Jehovah his God is with him, and the shout of a king is in him.

But to be merry and it was right to rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead, and lived again; and being lost, also he was found.

And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

But what does the Divine answer say to him, “I reserved to Myself seven thousand men who did not bow the knee to Baal.” 1 Kg. 19:18

None is like the God of Jeshurun, riding the heavens for your help, and the clouds in His majesty.

For judgment will be without mercy to the one not doing mercy. And mercy rejoices over judgment.

And they removed the gods of the alien from among them, and served Jehovah. And His soul was shortened with the misery of Israel.
