And Jesus passing on from there, two blind ones followed Him, crying and saying, Have mercy on us, Son of David.

The Book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the Son of David, the son of Abraham:

The blind receive sight, and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor are given the gospel. Isa. 61:1

And, behold, a woman of Canaan coming forth from those borders cried out to Him, saying, Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is badly demon- possessed.

Lord, have mercy on my son. For he is moonstruck and suffers badly. For he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.

And as they were going out from Jericho, a great crowd followed Him.

But the chief priests and the scribes, seeing the wonders which He did, and the children crying out in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, they were incensed.

And the crowd, the ones going before and the ones following, were crying out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! “Blessed is He coming in the name of the Lord”! Hosanna in the highest! Psa. 118:26

And coming into the house, the blind ones came near to Him. And Jesus says to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? And they said to Him, Yes, Lord.

Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

And often it threw him both into fire and into water, that it might destroy him. But if You are able to do anything, help us, having compassion on us.

And they lifted their voice, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

And He said to them, How do they say the Christ is David’s son?

And in the same hour He healed many from diseases and plagues and evil spirits. And He gave to many blind ones ability to see.

Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was? Mic. 5:2

concerning His Son, the One coming of the seed of David according to flesh,

whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to flesh, He being God over all, blessed to the ages. Amen.
