Jesus said to him, If you desire to be perfect, go sell the things belonging to you and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.
And looking at him, Jesus loved him, and said to him, One thing is lacking to you. Go, sell as many things as you have, and give to the poor. And you will have treasure in Heaven. And come, follow Me, taking up the cross.
Sell the things belonging of you and give merciful gifts. Make for yourselves purses that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where a thief cannot come near, nor moth can ruin.
And hearing these things, Jesus said to him, Yet one thing is lacking to you: sell all, as much as you have, and distribute to the poor ones ; and you will have treasure in Heaven. And come, follow Me.
Charge the rich in the age now, not to be high-minded, nor to set hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, the One offering to us richly all things for enjoyment;
for indeed you suffered together in my bonds; and you accepted the plunder of your possessions with joy, knowing yourselves to have a better and abiding possession in Heaven.
Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor ones of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?
I know your works, and the affliction, and the poverty; but you are rich. And I know the blasphemy of the ones saying themselves to be Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
