King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, do not trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.

He has scattered; he has given to the needy ones; his righteousness is standing forever; his horn shall be lifted up with honor.

The wicked one borrows and never repays, but the righteous one is gracious and giving.

One favoring the poor one lends to Jehovah, and He will repay his dealing to him.

A multitude of men will proclaim each his own kindness, but who can find a faithful man?

Give a share to seven, or even to eight; for you do not know what evil may be on the earth.

I will send him against a godless nation, and on the people of My wrath. I will command him to plunder plunder, and to spoil spoil, and to appoint them a trampling like the mud of the streets.

Is it not to break your bread to the hungry, that you should bring the wandering poor ones to your house? When will you see the naked ones and cover him, and you will not hide yourself from your flesh?

On account of this the Lord shall not rejoice over their young men, and not have pity on their orphans and widows; for everyone is godless and an evildoer; and every mouth speaks foolishness. In all this His anger does not turn back, but His hand is still stretched out.

Put a rams’ horn to your mouth. He comes like an eagle against the house of Jehovah, because they have passed over My covenant and have transgressed against My Law.

Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, saying:

And at morning, Today a winter storm, for the heaven is red, being overcast. Hypocrites! You indeed know how to discern the face of the heaven, but you cannot the signs of the times.

But knowing their wickedness, Jesus said, Why do you test Me, hypocrites?

But they do all their works to be seen by men. And they make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their robes.

And they love the first couch in the suppers, and the first seats in the synagogues,

and will cut him in two, and will appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

For truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth should pass away, not one iota or one point shall pass away from the Law, not until all things should occur.

And when you fast, do not be as the hypocrites, with sullen face, for they disfigure their faces so that they may appear to men to be fasting. Truly I say to you that they have their reward.

But you doing merciful deeds, do not let your left know what your right hand does,

And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the open streets so that they may appear to be seen of men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.

Hypocrite, first take the beam out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the chip out of the eye of your brother.

and chief seats in the synagogues, and chief couches in the dinners,

And answering, He said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, hypocrites; as it has been written: “This people honors Me with the lips, but their heart is far away from Me;

But give merciful gifts of the things which are within, and see all things are clean to you.

Woe to you, Pharisees! For you love the chief seat in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.

Sell the things belonging of you and give merciful gifts. Make for yourselves purses that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where a thief cannot come near, nor moth can ruin.

Hypocrites! You know to discern the face of the earth and of the heaven, but how is it you do not discern this time?

Then the Lord answered him and said, Hypocrite! Each one of you on the sabbath, does he not loose his ox or ass from the manger, and leading it away, give it drink?

Be on guard from the scribes, the ones desiring to walk about in long robes, and loving greetings in the markets, and chief seats in the synagogues, and chief couches in the suppers,

But woe to you, rich ones, for you have your comfort!

Or how can you say to your brother, Brother, allow me to take out the chip in your eye, yourself not seeing the beam in your eye? Hypocrite! First take the beam out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the chip in your brother’s eye.

for some thought, since Judas held the money bag, that Jesus was saying to him, Buy what things we have need of for the feast; or that he should give something to the poor ones.

I do not receive glory from men;

How are you able to believe, you who receive glory from one another, and the glory which is from the only God you do not seek?

The one speaking from himself seeks his own glory. But the one seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, this One is true, and unrighteousness is not in Him.

a devout one and fearing God, with all his household, both doing many merciful deeds to the people and praying to God through all.

And he said, Cornelius, your prayer was heard and your merciful deeds were remembered before God.

And he was staring at him, and becoming terrified he said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your merciful deeds went up for a memorial before God.

And according as any was prospered, the disciples, each of them, determined to send for ministry to the brothers living in Judea,

And through many years I arrived doing merciful deeds and offerings to my nation,

And in Joppa was a certain disciple Tabitha by name, which translated is called Dorcas (Gazelle). She was full of good works and of merciful deeds which she did.

or the one exhorting, in the encouragement; the one sharing, in simplicity; the one leading, in diligence; the one showing mercy, in cheerfulness.

And if I give out all my possesssions, and if I give over my body that I be burned, but I do not have love, I am profited nothing.

only that we might remember the poor, which same thing I was eager to do.

The one stealing, let him steal no more, but rather let him labor, working what is good with the hands, that he may have something to give to the one that has need.

nor seeking glory from men, neither from you, nor from others, being able to be in weight, as apostles of Christ.

to do good, to be rich in good works, to be ready to impart, to be generous ones,

For we have much joy and encouragement over your love, in that the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

But do not be forgetful of doing good and sharing, for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.

If anyone speaks, let it be as the words of God; if anyone serves, as by strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom is the glory and the might to the ages of the ages. Amen.

And he said, I have sinned. Honor me now, please, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and return with me; and I shall worship Jehovah your God.
