Blessed are the ones who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because, becoming approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to the ones loving Him.

Fear nothing of what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some from you into prison, so that you may be tried; and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

The wicked one plots against the righteous one and gnashes on him with his teeth;

that will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the coming age, eternal life.

And lifting up His eyes to His disciples, He said: Blessed are the poor ones, for the kingdom of God is yours.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly I say to you, not will you have finished the cities of Israel, not until the Son of Man comes.

But seeing, Jesus was indignant. And He said to them, Allow the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them. For of such is the kingdom of God.

And I appoint to you, even as My Father appointed to Me, a kingdom,

Behold, we call blessed the ones enduring. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord, “that the Lord is full of compassion and merciful.” Psa. 103:8
