And having left Nazareth, having come He lived at Capernaum, beside the sea in the districts of Zebulun and Naphtali,

And you, Capernaum, who “have been exalted to the heaven, you will be thrown down to Hades.” For if the powerful acts happening in you had taken place in Sodom, it would remain until today. Isa. 14:13, 15

And they having come into Capernaum, those receiving the didrachmas came to Peter and said, Does your teacher not pay the didrachmas?

so that might be fulfilled that spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations:

And entering into the boat, He passed over and came to His own city.

And they are going into Capernaum. And entering into the synagogue, at once He taught on the sabbaths.

And again He entered into Capernaum after some days. And it was heard that He was in a house.

And you, Capernaum, the one exalted to the heaven? “To Hades you will be thrust down!” Isa. 14:13, 15

And He said to them, All you will speak this parable to Me, Physician, heal yourself. As many things as we heard were happening in Capernaum, do also here in your fatherland.

After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And He remained there not many days.

Then Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He made the water wine. And there was a certain royal nobleman whose son was sick in Capernaum.

And entering into the boat, they were going across the sea to Capernaum. And darkness had already occurred, and Jesus had not come to them.

Therefore, when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there nor His disciples, they themselves also stepped into the boats and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus.

He said these things teaching in a synagogue in Capernaum.
