And it happened, when Ahab heard these words, he tore his garments, and put sackcloth on his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.

and also the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Jehovah was not willing to forgive.

But you are ones smearing lies; all of you are worthless healers.

I have heard many such things. You are all troublesome comforters.

They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous one, and they condemn the blood of the innocent one.

And he called to Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Arise, go out from the midst of my people, both you and the sons of Israel. And go serve Jehovah according to your word.

But as he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Let nothing be to you and that just One. For I have suffered many things today by a dream because of Him.

But the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus, seeing the earthquake and the things taking place, they feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this One was Son of God.

And a third time he said to them, For what evil thing did this man do? I found nothing as cause of death in Him; therefore scourging Him, I will release Him.

And we indeed justly, for we receive things worthy of what we did. But this One did nothing amiss.

And the centurion, seeing the thing happening, glorified God, saying, Truly, this Man was righteous.

Then the Jews answered him, We have a law, and according to our Law He ought to die because He made Himself Son of God!

And finding no cause of death, they asked Pilate to kill Him.

But we know that as many things as the law says, it says to the ones within the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be accountable to God.

in hypocrisy of liars, being seared in their own conscience,

They profess to know God, but by their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient, and to every good work disapproved.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, guileless, undefiled, and having been separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens;

but with precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot,

not as Cain was, of the evil one, and slaughtered his brother. And for the sake of what did he slaughter him? Because his works were evil, but the things of his brother were righteous.

And the ones living on the earth will rejoice over them, and will make merry. And they will send one another gifts, because these two prophets tormented the ones living on the earth.

And Saul said to Samuel, I have sinned, for I have transgressed the mouth of Jehovah and your word, because I feared the people, and I listened to their voice.

And he said, I have sinned. Honor me now, please, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and return with me; and I shall worship Jehovah your God.

Yea, he has put his life in his hand and struck the Philistine. And Jehovah worked a great deliverance for all Israel. You saw it and rejoiced. And why do you sin against innocent blood, to cause David to die without cause?
