Matthew 24:23

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Then if anyone says to you, Behold, here is the Christ! Or, Here! Do not believe.

And then if anyone says to you, Behold, here is the Christ! Or, Behold, there! You shall not believe.

And He said, Watch that you not be led astray. For many will come on My name, saying, I am! Also, The time has come! Do not then go after them.

I have come in the name of My Father, and you do not receive Me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive that one.

But the centurion was rather persuaded by the helmsman and the ship-owner, than by the things being said by Paul.
