Again, he sent other slaves, saying, Tell the ones invited, Behold, I have prepared my supper; my oxen, and the fatlings are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.

And they refused to hear, and were not mindful of Your wonders which You did among them. But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a leader to return them to their bondage. But You are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and did not forsake them.

For You, O Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all who call on You.

Better is a meal of herbs and love than a fattened ox and hatred with it.

And he sent his slave at the supper hour to say to the ones who had been invited, Come, for now all is ready.

but you will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and you will be witnesses of Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

But speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, It was necessary for the Word of God to be spoken first to you; but since you indeed thrust it away and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the nations.

He who indeed did not spare His own Son, but gave Him over on behalf of us all, how will He not freely give all things to us with Him?
