But the crowd rebuked them, that they be quiet. But they cried out the more, saying, Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!

But He did not answer her a word. And coming near, His disciples asked Him, saying, Send her away, for she cries out behind us.

Then little children were brought to Him, that He might lay hands on them and might pray. But the disciples rebuked them.

And, behold, two blind ones sitting beside the way, hearing that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!

And stopping, Jesus called them, and said, What do you desire that I do to you?

And Jesus passing on from there, two blind ones followed Him, crying and saying, Have mercy on us, Son of David.

And those going before rebuked him, that he be quiet. But he much more cried out, Son of David, Have mercy on me!

Steadfastly continue in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving,

Pray without ceasing.
