For the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a housemaster, who went out early in the morning to hire workers into his vineyard.

He put before them another parable, saying: The kingdom of Heaven is compared to a man sowing good seed in his field.

He put another parable before them, saying: The kingdom of Heaven is compared to a grain of mustard, which taking, a man sowed in his field;

He spoke another parable to them: The kingdom of Heaven is compared to leaven, which taking, a woman hid in three measures of meal until the whole was leavened.

Again, the kingdom of Heaven is compared to a drag net thrown into the sea, and gathering together of every kind;

And agreeing with the workers for a denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard.

But what do you think? A man had two children, and coming to the first he said, Child, go today; work in my vineyard.

The kingdom of Heaven is compared to a man, a king, who made a wedding feast for his son.

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those sent to her. How often I desired to gather your children in the way a bird gathers her chicks under her wings! And you did not desire it.

Then the kingdom of Heaven shall be compared to ten virgins who taking their lamps, went out to a meeting of the bridegroom.

For it is as if a man going abroad called his own slaves and gave over his belongings to them.

and saying, Repent! For the kingdom of Heaven has drawn near.

As a man going away, having left his house, and giving his slaves authority, and to each his work (and he commanded the doorkeeper, that he watch),

I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.

So that, my beloved brothers, you be firm, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord always, knowing that your labor is not fruitless in the Lord.

perfect you in every good work, in order to do His will, doing in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
