And he having begun to take account, one debtor of ten thousand talents was brought near to him.

And he said, Now also let it be according to your words; with whomever it is found with him, he shall become a slave to me, and you shall be innocent.

and gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents, and ten thousand darics; and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

And I said, O my God, I am ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, O my God. For our iniquities have increased over our head, and our guiltiness has grown to the heavens.

For my iniquities have passed over my head; as a heavy burden too heavy for me.

For evils have surrounded me until there is no number; my iniquities have taken hold on me and I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails me.

Because of this the kingdom of Heaven has been compared to a man, a king, who desired to take account with his slaves.

But he not having any to repay, the lord of him commanded him to be sold, also his wife and children, and all things, as much as he had, and to be repaid.

And to one indeed he gave five talents, and to another, two, and to another, one, to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

And going, the one who received the five talents worked with them and made another five talents.

And coming up, the one receiving the five talents brought another five talents near, saying, Lord, you gave over five talents to me. Behold, I gained another five talents over them.

And the one who received two talents also coming up, he said, Lord, you gave over two talents to me. Behold, I have gained two other talents above them.

And the one having received the one talent also coming up, he said, Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter;

Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, do you think that these were sinners above all men living in Jerusalem?

And having called to him each one of the debtors of his lord, he said to the first, How much do you owe my lord?

Then he said to another, And you, how much do you owe? And he said, a hundred cors of wheat. And he said to him, Take your statement and write eighty.
