And after six days, Jesus takes along Peter and James, and his brother John, and leads up them up into a high mountain privately.
And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to grieve and to be deeply troubled.
And He did not allow anyone to accompany Him except Peter and James and John, the brother of James.
even we heard this voice being borne out of Heaven, being with Him in the holy mountain,
I am coming to you this third time. “In the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” Deut. 19:15
And coming into the house, He did not allow anyone to enter, except Peter and James and John, and the father and mother of the girl.
And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light.
And as He was sitting in the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew questioned Him privately:
For not following fables having been cleverly devised, but having become eyewitnesses of the majesty of that One, Jesus Christ, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord.
