But turning He said to Peter, Go behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me, for you do not think of the things of God, but the things of men.

Woe to the world from its stumblingblocks! It is a necessity for the stumbling blocks to come, yet woe to that man through whom the stumbling-block comes!

Then Jesus said to him, Go, Satan! For it has been written: “You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve Him only.” Deut. 6:13

But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, Go behind Me, Satan, because you do not think the things of God, but the things of men.

And answering, to him, Jesus said, Go behind Me, Satan! For it has been written: “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” Deut. 6:13

Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!

Therefore let us no longer judge one another, but rather judge this, not to put a stumbling block or a snare toward a brother.

It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything by which your brother stumbles, or is caused to stumble, or is weak.

whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and who glory in their shame, the ones thinking earthly things.

Be mindful of the things above, not the things on the earth.
