Do not be hurried with your mouth, and do not let your heart hurry to bring forth a word before God. For God is in Heaven, and you are on earth; on account of this, let your words be few.

So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, saying: You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hands, saying, Performing we will perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out drink offerings to her. Lifting up you lift up your vows and performing you perform your vows.

And having become deeply grieved, but because of the oaths and those reclining together, the king did not wish to reject her.

And He said to them, Going, say to that fox, Behold, today and tomorrow I cast out demons and I complete cures, and the third day I will be finished.

And it happened at the end of two months, she returned to her father. And he did to her his vow which he had vowed. And she never knew a man. And it is a fixed custom in Israel,

And the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, Not one of us shall give his daughter to Benjamin for a wife.

And the men of Israel were pressed on that day, for Saul took an oath of the people, saying, Cursed shall be the man who eats food until the evening, when I have been avenged on my enemies; and none of the people tasted food.

And one of the people answered and said, Swearing your father made the people swear, saying, Cursed shall be the man who eats food today; and the people were weak.

So may God do to the enemies of David, and may He do more so, if I leave any of all that is to him to the light of the morning, of one who urinates against a wall.

And Saul swore to her by Jehovah, saying, As Jehovah lives, no guilt shall happen to you because of this thing.
