The blind receive sight, and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor are given the gospel. Isa. 61:1

And he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God. And his flesh returned like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his garments and said, Am I God, to kill and to keep alive, that this one is sending to me to take away his leprosy from a man? For consider now, and see, for he is seeking an occasion with me.

Jehovah opens the eyes of the blind ones; Jehovah raises those bowed down; Jehovah loves the righteous ones;

The meek shall eat and be satisfied; those seeking Jehovah shall praise Him; your heart shall live forever.

And Jehovah said to him, Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute ones, or the deaf one, or the seeing one, or the blind one? Is it not I, Jehovah?

And in that day deaf ones shall hear the words of a book; and the eyes of blind ones shall see out of their gloom and out of darkness.

And the humble ones shall increase joy in Jehovah, and the poor of men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Bring out the blind ones, yet there are eyes; and the deaf ones, yet there are ears to him.

And My hand has made all these things, even all these things exist, a statement of Jehovah. But I will look toward this one, to the afflicted one, and to the contrite of spirit, even trembling at My Word.

And I fed the flock of slaughter, the true humble one of the flock. And I took two staffs for Myself: the one I called Kindness, and the other I called Union. And I fed the flock.

Heal feeble ones, cleanse lepers, raise dead ones, cast out demons. You freely received, freely give.

And answering, Jesus said to them, Going, relate to John what you hear and see:

Then He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out. And it was restored sound as the other.

And blind ones and lame ones came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

Blessed are the poor in spirit! For theirs is the kingdom of the Heavens.

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly ordered them, saying, See, let no one know.

And they were most exceedingly amazed, saying, He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf one to hear, and the mute one to speak.

And seeing that a crowd is running together, Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, Come out from him, and you may no more go into him!

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to proclaim the gospel to the poor ones; He has sent Me” to heal those being broken in heart, “to proclaim freedom to captives, and to the blind ones to see again,” to send away in freedom the ones being crushed,

Jesus answered them, I told you, and you did not believe. The works which I do in the name of My Father, these bear witness about Me.

But if I do, even if you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may perceive and may believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.

And as He was in Jerusalem, at the Passover, at the Feast, many believed into His name, seeing the signs which He did.

This one came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You have come as a teacher from God. For no one is able to do these miraculous signs which You do, except God be with Him.

But I have the witness greater than the one of John, for the works which the Father has given Me, that I should finish them, the works which I do themselves, witness concerning Me, that the Father has sent Me.

And He said to him, Go wash in the pool of Siloam, which translated is Sent. Then he went and washed, and came seeing.

Men, Israelites, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a Man from God, having been exhibited among you by works of power and wonders and miraculous signs, which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know,

Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor ones of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?
