And He said to them, Do you do well to set aside the commandment of God so that you may keep your tradition?

It is time for Jehovah to work; they have broken Your Law.

And the earth is defiled under those living in it, because they transgress laws and violate a statute, and break the everlasting covenant.

making void the Word of God by your tradition which you gave over. And many such like things you do.

For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash the hands with the fist, holding the tradition of the elders.

Then the Pharisees and scribes questioned Him, Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?

Then is Law annulled through faith? Let it not be! But we establish the Law.

For if, indeed, the one coming proclaims another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive another spirit which you have not received, or another gospel which you never accepted, you might well endure these.

And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my own age; in my race being much more a zealot of the ancestral traditions of my fathers.

the one opposing and exalting himself over every thing being called God, or object of worship, so as for him “to sit in the temple of God” as God, setting forth himself, that he is God. Dan. 11:36; Eze. 28:2
