But seeing Him walking on the sea, they thought it to be a phantom. And they cried out.
stretching out the heavens by Himself, and walking on the high place of the sea;
And He saw them being distressed in the rowing, for the wind was against them. And it was about the fourth watch of the night when He came toward them, walking on the sea. And He willed to go by them.
For all saw Him, and were troubled. And immediately He spoke to them and said to them, Have courage. I AM! Do not fear.
But being terrified, and being filled with fear, they thought they beheld a spirit.
