And going out, the Pharisees at once took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him.
But as they were leaving, the Pharisees took up a council against Him, how they might destroy Him.
And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You do not look to the face of men.
And they sent some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians to Him, that they might catch Him in a word.
And He charged them, saying, See! Look out for the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.
And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill Him; for they feared the people.
But they were filled with mindless rage and talked to one another as to what they might do to Jesus.
Therefore from that day, they took counsel that they might kill Him.
