And He said to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? To save a soul, or to kill? But they were silent.
For I desired faithfulness, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
And He said to the man having the hand withered, Rise up into the middle.
And having looked around on them with anger, being greatly grieved over the hardness of their heart, He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out, and his hand was restored sound as the other.
But they were silent, for they disputed with one another in the way as to who was greater.
