And they compelled one passing by, Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from a field, the father of Alexander and Rufus, that he might bear His cross.

And going out, they found a man, a Cyrenean, named Simon. They compelled this one, that he bear His cross.

And whoever shall compel you to go one mile, go with him two;

And when they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, and put His own garments on Him. And they led Him out, that they might crucify Him.

And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me, he cannot be My disciple.
