And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to You; take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will.

Is anything too difficult for Jehovah? At the appointed time I will return to you, at the time of life, and there will be a son to Sarah.

I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your Law is within My inmost being.

Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?

And going forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.

Again, going away a second time, He prayed, saying, My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to pass away except I drink it, let Your will be done.

Therefore, you should pray: Our Father, the One in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

But looking at them, Jesus said, From men it is impossible, but not from God. For all things are possible from God.

And they said to Him, We are able. But Jesus said to them, Indeed you will drink the cup which I drink, and you will be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized.

And He comes and finds them sleeping. And He says to Peter, Simon, do you sleep? Were you not strong enough to keep awake one hour?

Now My soul is agitated, and what may I say? Father, save Me out of this hour? But on account of this I came to this hour.

Therefore Jesus said to Peter, Put your sword into the sheath: the cup which the Father has given Me, shall I not drink it, not at all?

Jesus said to them, My food is that I should do the will of Him having sent Me, and that I may finish His work.

I am not able to do anything of Myself, nothing! Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My will, but the will of the Father having sent Me.

And because you are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba! Father!

and coming to be found in figure as a man, He humbled Himself, coming to be obedient until death, even the death of a cross.

if we are faithless, that One remains faithful; He is not able to deny Himself.

on hope of eternal life which the God who does not lie promised before eternal times,

that through two unchangeable things, in which it was not possible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, the ones having fled to lay hold on the hope being set before us,
