Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, In this night, before a cock sounds, you will deny Me three times.
Therefore be wakeful, for you do not know when the lord of the house is coming, at evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or early;
But Peter said to Him, Even if all are being stumbled, yet not I.
But rather he said more fervently, If I must die with You, I will not deny You, not ever! And likewise also they all said.
But He said, I say to you, Peter, A cock not will sound today, not before that you will deny knowing Me three times.
Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for Me? Indeed, I tell you truly, not a cock will sound, until you deny Me three times, not at all.
Then the slave woman, the portress, said to Peter, Are you not also of the disciples of this man? That one said, I am not.
So then the one thinking to stand, let him watch that he not fall.
