And Jehovah testified against Israel, and against Judah, by the hand of all His prophets, and every seer, saying, Turn back from your evil ways, and keep My commands, My statutes, according to all the Law that I commanded your fathers, and that I sent to you by the hand of My servants the prophets.

And Jehovah, the God of their fathers, sent to them by the hand of His messengers, rising early and sending, for He had pity on his people and on His dwelling place.

which You have commanded by Your servants the prophets, saying, The land into which you go, to possess it, it is an unclean land with the impurity of the people of the lands, with their disgusting things with which they have filled it, from mouth to mouth with their uncleanness.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of waters, which will give its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf will not wither, and all which he does will prosper.

I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending, saying, Each man now turn back from his evil way, and amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them, and you shall live in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers. But you have not stretched out your ear, and not listened to Me.

And, I sent to you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying, Do not now do this disgusting thing which I hate!

Woe to me! For I am like the gatherings of summer fruit, like the gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; my soul craves the early fig.

Are not these the words which Jehovah proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous with her cities round about her, and the Negeb and the Lowland were inhabited?

And when the season of the fruits came, he sent his slaves to the vinedressers to receive his fruits.

And He began to speak to them in parables: “A man planted a vineyard,” and set a fence around it and dug a winevat, “and built a tower.” And he rented it to vinedressers and went abroad. Isa. 5:1, 2

But taking him, they beat him, and sent him away empty.

But he not knowing, and doing things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few. And everyone given much, much will be demanded from him. And to whom much was committed, more exceedingly they will ask of him.

And in harvest time, he sent a slave to the vinedressers, that they might give him the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers sent him away empty, beating him.
