So, the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I place in Zion a Stone, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a founded Foundation; he who believes shall not hasten.

But He said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he and those with him hungered?

But answering, He said to them, Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning “created them male and female”? Gen. 1:27

And they said to Him, Do you hear what these say? And Jesus said to them, Yes. Did you never read, “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings You have perfected praise?” LXX-Psa. 8:3; MT-Psa. 8:2

Jesus said to them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, “A Stone which the builders rejected, this One became the Head of the Corner? This was from the Lord, and it is a wonder in our eyes?” Psalm 118:22, 23

But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that spoken to you by God, saying:

And He said to them, Did you never read what David did when he had need and hungered, he and those with him,

And answering, Jesus said to them, Have you never read this, what David did when he hungered, and the ones being with him?

as it has been written, “Behold, I place in” “Zion a Stone-of-stumbling,” “and a Rock-of-offense,” “and everyone believing on Him will not be shamed.” LXX and MT-Isa. 28:16; MT-Isa. 8:14
