And Jehovah said to her, Two nations are in your womb; even two peoples shall break from your body. And one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land shall become springs of waters, in the home of jackals, in its resting place, and a place for the reed and rush.

But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself. His seed is devastated, also his brothers and his neighbors, and he is not.

Therefore, hear the counsel of Jehovah which He has planned against Edom, and His purposes which He has purposed against those living in Teman: Surely they shall drag them, the least of the flock. Surely He shall make their dwellings desolate over them.

And Hazor shall be a dwelling for jackals, a ruin forever. No man shall live there, and not any son of man sojourn in it.

So says Jehovah of Hosts concerning Edom: Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?

Flee, turn back, go deep to dwell, one living in Dedan. For I will bring the calamity of Esau on him in the time I will call him to account.

And Babylon shall become heaps, a home for jackals, a horror and a hissing, without one living in it.

And I will give Jerusalem to be a heap of ruins, a den of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, not [one] living in it.

Your perversity is complete, daughter of Zion; He will not add to exile you. He will visit your perversity, daughter of Edom; He will expose your sins.

So thus says the Lord Jehovah: I have lifted up My hand, surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.

for behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.

Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a wilderness of desolation, from violence done to the sons of Judah, whose innocent blood they poured out in their land.

Shame shall cover you from the violence against your brother Jacob, and you shall be cut off forever.

If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers and sisters, and besides, even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.
