For who knows what is good for man in this life, the number of the days of his life of vanity? Even he makes them like the shadow. For who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
And you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and the lifting up of their soul, their sons and their daughters?
And I will pour out on the house of David, and on those living in Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born.
And as He drew near to the gate of the city, even behold, one having died was being borne, an only son born to his mother; and she was a widow. And a considerable crowd of the city was with her.
And Jesus said, Who was touching Me? And all denying it, Peter and the ones with Him said, Master, the crowds are pressing You together and are pressing hard. And do You say, Who was touching Me?
