because an only daughter was born to him, about twelve years of age; and she was dying. And in His going, the crowds pressed on Him.

They are beaten from morning till evening; they perish forever with no one regarding.

For who knows what is good for man in this life, the number of the days of his life of vanity? Even he makes them like the shadow. For who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

Son of man, behold, I am taking from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke. Yet you shall not wail nor weep, and your tears shall not come.

And you, son of man, will it not be on the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and the lifting up of their soul, their sons and their daughters?

And as He drew near to the gate of the city, even behold, one having died was being borne, an only son born to his mother; and she was a widow. And a considerable crowd of the city was with her.

And, behold, a man named Jairus came, and this one was a synagogue ruler. And falling at the feet of Jesus, he begged Him to come into his house,

And a woman being in a flow of blood from twelve years, who had spent her whole living on physicians, and could not be cured by anyone,

And Jesus said, Who was touching Me? And all denying it, Peter and the ones with Him said, Master, the crowds are pressing You together and are pressing hard. And do You say, Who was touching Me?

Because of this, even as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death passed to all men, inasmuch as all sinned.
