But seeing, the Pharisee who invited Him spoke within himself, saying, This One, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what the woman who touches Him is; for she is a sinner.

Then bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say within yourselves, We have Abraham as father. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham out of these stones.

And fear took hold of all; and they glorified God, saying, A great prophet has risen up among us; and, God has visited His people.

And, behold, a woman in the city, who was a sinner, knowing that He reclined in the Pharisee’s house, taking an alabaster vial of ointment,

and standing by His feet, weeping behind Him, she began to wash His feet with tears. And she was wiping with the hairs of her head. And she ardently kissed His feet and was anointing them with the ointment.

And answering, Jesus said to the man, Simon, I have a thing to say to you. And he said, Teacher, speak.

The woman said to Him, Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.

And much murmuring about Him was in the crowds. Some indeed said, He is a good One; but others said, No, but He deceives the crowd.

Therefore a second time they called the man who was blind, and they said to him, Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.
