King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And as He drew near to the gate of the city, even behold, one having died was being borne, an only son born to his mother; and she was a widow. And a considerable crowd of the city was with her.

And He said, Do not lay your hand on the boy, and do not do anything to him. For now I know that you are God-fearing, and you have not withheld your son, your only one, from Me.

And He said, Now take your son, Isaac, your only one whom you love, and go into the land of Moriah. And there offer him for a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will say to you.

And, behold, the whole family has risen against your servant, and said, Give up him who struck his brother, and we will cause him to die for the life of his brother whom he has killed. And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to cause my iniquity to be remembered, and to cause my son to die?

And Elijah took the boy and brought him down from the upper room of the house, and gave him to his mother; and Elijah said, See, your son lives!

Rise up, go to Zarephath that belongs to Sidon; and you shall live there. Behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain you.

And he said, At this season, according to the time of life you shall embrace a son. And she said, No, my lord, O man of God, do not lie to your handmaid.

And he bore him, and brought him to his mother. And he sat on her knees until noon, and died.

The blessing of the perishing came on me; and I made the widow’s heart to sing.

And I will pour out on the house of David, and on those living in Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born.

And it happened on the next day, He went into a city being called Nain. And many of His disciples went with Him; also a great crowd.

And seeing her, the Lord had compassion on her and said to her, Do not weep.

because an only daughter was born to him, about twelve years of age; and she was dying. And in His going, the crowds pressed on Him.

And all were weeping and bewailing her. But He said, Do not weep. She has not died, but is sleeping.

And many of the Jews had come to the ones around Martha and Mary, that they might console them concerning their brother.

And rising up Peter went with them, whom arriving they led him to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him, weeping and showing tunics and garments how many things Dorcas made while being with them.

And giving her a hand he raised her up. And calling the saints and the widows he presented her living.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their afflictions, and to keep oneself without blemish from the world.
