And there came to be also a dispute among them, who of them should be accounted to be greater.

In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greater in the kingdom of Heaven?

But they were silent, for they disputed with one another in the way as to who was greater.

And they began to discuss with themselves who then it may be of them, the one being about to do this.

But there arose among them a reasoning, who But might be the greater of them.

in brotherly love toward one another, loving tenderly, going before one another in honor;

Love patiently endures, is kind; love is not envious; love boasts not itself, is not puffed up;
