And I say to you, Make to yourselves friends by the unrighteous wealth, that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal tabernacles.

Jesus said to him, If you desire to be perfect, go sell the things belonging to you and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.

No one is able to serve two lords; for either he will hate the one, and he will love the other; or he will cleave to the one, and he will despise the other. You are not able to serve God and wealth.

So, O king, let my counsel be pleasing to you: Even break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by pitying the humble one, whether there will be duration to your prosperity.

Therefore if you were not faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true to you?

One favoring the poor one lends to Jehovah, and He will repay his dealing to him.

and you will be blessed, for they have nothing to repay you. For it will be repaid to you in the resurrection of the just.

Sell the things belonging of you and give merciful gifts. Make for yourselves purses that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where a thief cannot come near, nor moth can ruin.

But give merciful gifts of the things which are within, and see all things are clean to you.

For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us an eternal weight of glory, surpassing moment by surpassing moment;

No servant is able to serve two lords; for either he will hate the one, and he will love the other; or he will cling to one, and he will despise the other. You are unable to serve God and wealth.

And he said, Cornelius, your prayer was heard and your merciful deeds were remembered before God.

Do not treasure up for you treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves dig through and steal.

keep yourselves in the love of God, eagerly awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to everlasting life.

And he was staring at him, and becoming terrified he said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your merciful deeds went up for a memorial before God.

Send out your bread on the face of the waters, for you shall find it in many days.

Will your eyes fly on it? And it is not! For making it makes wings for itself; it flies into the heavens like an eagle.

For I will not contend forever, and I will not always be angry, for the spirit would faint before Me, even the breaths I have made.

My flesh and my heart waste away; God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.

I know what I will do, that when I am removed from the stewardship, they will receive me into their houses.

The crown of the wise ones is their riches; the folly of fools is their foolishness. .
