And those remaining fled to Aphek, to the city. And the wall fell on them, on twenty-seven thousand of those left. And Ben-hadad fled, and came into the city, into an inner room.
And the Fountain Gate was made strong by Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah. He built it and covered it, and made stand its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the Pool of Shelah by the King’s Garden, and to the stairs that go down from the City of David.
