There is one being rich, yet having nothing at all; but one acting poor has much wealth.

Israel is a luxuriant vine; he bears fruit for himself. According to the plenty of his fruit he has increased the altars; as the goodness of the land they have made goodly pillars.

Woe to him gaining evil gain for his house, to set his nest in the height, to be snatched from the palm of evil!

Sell the things belonging of you and give merciful gifts. Make for yourselves purses that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where a thief cannot come near, nor moth can ruin.

Therefore if you were not faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true to you?

But woe to you, rich ones, for you have your comfort!

But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, you are treasuring up to yourself wrath in the day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God.

as being grieved, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.

But the ones purposing to be rich fall into temptation, and a snare, and many foolish and hurtful lusts, which plunge men into ruin and destruction.

Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor ones of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?

I know your works, and the affliction, and the poverty; but you are rich. And I know the blasphemy of the ones saying themselves to be Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
