But no one having lit a lamp places it in secret, nor under the peck-measure, but on the lampstand, that the ones entering may see the light.

What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of this world.

I have come as a Light to the world, that every one who believes into Me may not remain in the darkness.
