He who walks righteously and speaks with uprightness; he who rejects the gain of oppressions, who shakes his palms free from taking the bribe, who stops his ear from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil.

For the vineyard of Jehovah of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the man of Judah is His delightful plant. And He waited for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, a cry!

this is not the fast I have chosen: to open bands of wickedness, to undo thongs of the yoke, and to send out free the ones being oppressed, and that you pull off every yoke?

But your eyes and your heart lust for nothing but your unjust gain, and to shed innocent blood, and injury, and to do oppression.

In you they have despised father and mother. In your midst they have dealt with the alien by oppression. In you they oppressed the widow and the orphan.

You shall not extort your neighbor, and not rob; you shall not allow the wages of a hired one to remain with you until morning.

By the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor; by the number of the years of increase he shall sell to you;

And you shall not oppress each man his neighbor, and you shall fear your God, for I am Jehovah your God.

Both palms are on evil, to do it well. The ruler is asking for a bribe, also the judge. And the great man speaks the lust of his soul; he acts, and they weave it together.

And also ones serving as soldiers asked him, saying, And we, what shall we do? And he said to them, Do not forcibly extort anyone nor accuse falsely, and be satisfied with your wages.

But you do wrong, and defraud, and these things to brothers!

And the sons of Israel cried to Jehovah, for he had nine hundred chariots of iron. And he oppressed the sons of Israel with force twenty years.
