You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall not touch their dead body; they are unclean to you.

It is not the thing entering into the mouth that defiles the man, but the thing coming forth out of the mouth, this defiles the man.

These things are the things defiling the man. But eating with unwashed hands does not defile the man.

There is nothing from outside the man, entering into him, which is able to defile him. But the things going out from him, those are the things defiling the man.

And He said to them, Are you also so without understanding? Do you not perceive that everything entering from the outside into the man is not able to defile him?

And seeing some of His disciples eating bread with unclean, that is unwashed hands, they found fault.

And he said to them, You know how unlawful it is for a man, a Jew, to unite with or to come near to one of another nation. Yet God showed to me not to call a man, not one, common or unclean.

To hold back from idol sacrifices, and from blood, and from the strangled thing, and from fornication; from which carefully keeping yourselves, you will do well. Farewell.

It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything by which your brother stumbles, or is caused to stumble, or is weak.

But food will not commend us to God. For neither if we eat do we excel, nor if we do not eat are we lacking.

Because of this, “come out from among them” “and be separated,” says the Lord, “and do not touch the unclean thing,” and I will receive you. Isa. 52:11

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

Therefore do not become partakers with them;

Therefore do not let anyone judge you in eating, or in drinking, or in part, of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths,

but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of reformation being imposed.
