Leviticus 1:5

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And he shall slaughter the son of the herd before the face of Jehovah. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall bring near the blood and sprinkle the blood on the altar round about, at the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar, to atone for your souls; for it is the blood which makes atonement for the soul.

And he shall lay his hand on its head and shall slaughter it in front of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood round about on the altar.

then he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and shall slaughter the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

and he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering, and he shall slaughter it for a sin offering in the place where he slaughters the burnt offering.

And the priest shall put of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense, at the opening of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the face of Jehovah.

With what shall I come before Jehovah, to bow down before the loftiness of God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves, sons of a year?

But the firstling of an ox, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar, and you shall burn their fat as incense, a fire offering of soothing fragrance to Jehovah.

And indeed every priest stands according to a day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

and to Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling speaking better things than that of Abel.

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.

And they slaughtered the bull, and brought the boy to Eli.
