Their appearance is darker than soot; they are not recognized in the outside places. Their skin has shriveled on their bones; it is dried up, it has become like wood.

Before their face, the peoples are pained; all faces collect heat.

She is empty, even waste, even devastated. And the heart is melted, and the knocking of the knees; and trembling is in all the loins; and all of their faces collect heat.

Even the dust clinging to us out of your city, we shake off against you! Yet know this, that the kingdom of God has drawn near to you!
