King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

In the days of her affliction and her wanderings, Jerusalem remembers all her desirable things from previous days in the falling of her people into the hand of the oppressive one, and there is no ally for her. The oppressive ones saw her; they laughed at her annihilation.

Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God watched over me;

When I remember these things and I pour out my soul on me (for I passed over with the throng; I led them to the house of God with the voice of rejoicing and praise, a host keeping the feast).

I remember God and am troubled; I meditate and my spirit faints. Selah.

We have become a shame to our neighbors a scorn and a mockery to those who are around us.

Your holy cities are a wilderness; Zion has become a wilderness; Jerusalem is a desolation.

The house of our holiness and our glory where our fathers praised You has become a burning of fire, and all our pleasant things have become a ruin.

So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, You shall say this to the king of Judah who sent you to Me to inquire of Me: Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, shall turn back into his own land of Egypt.

For was not Israel a mockery to you? Was he found among thieves? For ever since you spoke of him, you shook yourself.

While we exist, our eyes fail for our vain help. In our watching, we have watched for a nation; it does not save.

And say to the sons of Ammon, Hear the Word of the Lord Jehovah. So says the Lord Jehovah: Because you have said, Aha! against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was ruined, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity;

For so says the Lord Jehovah: Because you have clapped the hand, and you stamped the foot, and rejoiced with all your spite in your soul against the land of Israel;

And she shall run after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them. And she shall look for them, but she shall not find them. Then she shall say, I will go and return to my first husband, for then it was better with me than now.

And now many nations are gathered against you, saying, Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look on Zion.

But coming to himself he said, How many servants of my father abound in bread, and I am perishing with famine.

But Abraham said, Child, remember that you fully received your good things in your lifetime, and Lazarus likewise the bad things, and you are tormented.
